Teaching English!

Thursday mornings were perhaps my favorite time of the week. Each Thursday, I went to Fenelon in the 8th arrondissement to assist in english classes. Each week we did something different. Sometimes I would talk about a topic they were studying and they would write notes on what I was saying (a little too much authority, if you ask me!). Some days we played games or had debates in class. Other times I would listen to an oral expression that they had prepared.  Mostly, it was lot of fun. It was really cool to see their interest in the subject grow and to find out what they liked over the course of the semester. It was really special, and I’m glad I got to do it!

Anyways, here’s a picture of me with my two classes. One of them was the last year of middle school (“college”) and the other was first year of high school.
